Legends of theLEGENDS OF THE RACE. THESE ARE MY PERSONAL TRIBUTES TO THOSE WHO SHAPED MY LOVE FOR RACING IN ALL FORMS.

Dick was on of he top branding experts in the racing business. First for Pontiac then STP being a VP of both. He was well know around the race tracks of all kinds. NASCAR to Indy supporting the most famous of teams and drivers. He was friends with the France family, his Dad was on the NASCAR board for years.Beside racing, Dick loved to go fishing on the beach at Daytona, in his retirement he went mostly everday.

For me he was a great friend and someone I spoke with several days a week for a lot of years. We worked on Racin' for a Livin' in 2006, but even years before that all back to when we met at Rockingham North Carolina track and again at Darlington where I was testing to get my ARCA Master Lic.
